Recently, KTM has announced new bikes: the KTM 690 Enduro R and KTM 690 SMC R for 2023. Compared to the last updated 2021 model, the 2023 model gets a new surface saddle and has a new body pattern/decal.

The two bikes are both equipped with a liquid-cooled LC4 single-cylinder engine from the Dakar Rally factory racing technology, with an actual displacement of 693cc, a maximum power of 55kw, and about 74 horses.

Both models feature a tubular steel lattice frame, the 2023 690 Enduro R has a long-travel WP XPLOR suspension, a 910mm seat height, and 21-inch front and 18-inch wheels at the rear, which will master more challenging terrain on this lightweight, high-performance king of versatility. The 690 SMC R has a relatively low seat height (892 mm), 17-inch diameter front and rear wheels

Both LC4 machines benefit from Cornering ABS, which allows riders to use full braking power even at big lean angles, traction control, and two ride modes.
