The factory cam cover, made of soft aluminum, is prone to stripping. This weakens the ignition coil's grounding, which relies on these threads for a secure connection. Even minor thread wear can cause reduced spark energy or unnecessary knock retard.  
Our upgraded ignition coil wire solve this issue, ensuring reliable grounding and optimal performance.

Note:

Removing the factory coil ground wire requires a pin removal tool for a seamless upgrade.

Fitment:

Before purchasing, please make sure the ignition coil connector part number starts with "8K0". 

NOTE:
For GTI/GTI & For Golf R & For Mk7 Mk7.5 - Use the grounding lug located behind the passenger-side headlight.  
For Mk8 - Fitment is confirmed and follows the same setup as Mk7 and Mk7.5 models.

For Audi A3/S3 - The grounding lug is on the passenger-side frame near the fender, behind the headlight. If it's hard to reach, you can use the M6 threaded hole on the engine mount instead.  
For Audi A3/S3 8Y - You may want to route the ground wire to the driver’s side and use the factory chassis grounding point near the back of the battery.
